
The story takes place in 1998 near the fictional Midwestern town of Raccoon City where a series of bizarre murders have taken place. It is a remake of the 1996 game Resident Evil, the first installment in the Resident Evil video game series.

The short film was released in November 2000. 4D-Executerīiohazard 4D-Executer features Raccoon City, but none of the characters from the video game series are present. FilmsĬapcom have released three animated films which are tied to and set in the Resident Evil video game series.
